How I work:

I am trained as Transactional Analyst and my approach is integrative and relational.  My emphasis is on empowering the client. This relational approach allows me to use a range of skills in a way that responds to the individual needs of each client.  I worked as a Research Psychologist as well as educator for many years.

My qualifications include: BA (Hons Psychology), MA (Educational & Institutional Management), PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education), Dip. SN (Diploma in Special Needs), CTA (Certified Transactional Analyst with Psychotherapy specalism), PTSTA (Provisional Trainer and Supervisor in Transactional Analysis), Certificate in Emotional Freedom Technique and Reiki practitioner Level 2.

I belong to the following professional organisations: ITA, EATA, ITAA, UKCP and BACP (go to Links to find out more). 

I put emphasis on Continuing Professional Development and regular supervision as this enables me to provide the best service to my clients.



What is Transactional Analysis?

Transactional Analysis is a theory of personality, interpersonal communication and child development and was developed by Eric Berne based on a number of significant psychological approaches. TA provides an understanding of human behaviour, communication and relationships.
